Our Stimela Heavy-duty Gumboot range is a benchmark for mining gumboots and is well-recognized worldwide for its patented metatarsal protection. This knee-length PVC mining gumboot has several safety features, including a steel safety toe, and a steel midsole that protects the front and bottom of the feet. There is also a heavy-duty gumboot option with our patented metatarsal protection for an additional safety feature.

The Stimela range of heavy-duty gumboots has orange or green ankle reflectors for improved visibility among co-workers, and colour options include black/black, black/grey, white/grey, and black/toffee. With an average weight of 2.4kg, these gumboots are light enough to wear comfortably while strong enough to protect mineworkers underground.

Stimela XP Gumboots

This range of heavy-duty gumboots has a metal-free option which is lighter than regular mining gumboots, but still provides full protection.

The Stimela XP Gumboots offer metatarsal protection, toe caps of a generous size for extra protection and feature an anti-penetration textile midsole. Furthermore, as the toe caps are made from fibreglass material, so these gumboots are temperature resistant which means that the in-shoe temperature remains moderate regardless of the ambient temperature. These heavy-duty gumboots have excellent grip and sole support, which ensures that mineworkers are fully protected from the unique workplace hazards they face.
